Giving
Thank you for visiting the Townfield Church website. Whether you are a regular visitor, or are here for the first time, we hope that you will be able to connect with us as a church community, and with the God we serve and follow.
At Townfield we recognise that giving some of our time, energy, skills, and money is part of our being disciples of Jesus. We give back to God as part of our worship, and as a sign of our commitment to God’s work.

Making a one off gift
If you would like to make a one-off donation to support God’s work through Townfield, simply click the ‘Give now’ button below. If you are UK tax payer, you will be given the opportunity to Gift Aid your donation. Don’t be put off by the giving page saying “St Andrew’s Church Bebington” – St Andrew’s and Townfield are two churches in one parish, and our finances are administered jointly. If you would like to make sure your gift goes specifically to Townfield, click here to let our treasurer know by email.
Giving regularly
If you would like to give regularly to Townfield, the best way to do this is through your bank. If you are a UK tax payer you can also increase the value of your donation by using Gift Aid. Our Treasurer, Bryan Higgins, would be very happy to confidentially help you with Standing Orders and /or Gift Aid.
Your giving makes a big difference – thank you!
It enables us to:
- support the work of Chester Diocese, which in turn enables them to pay our clergy, and support the wider work of the Church of England locally and nationally
- employ staff, including our Youth Worker and office staff (shared with St Andrew’s)
- run events and activities for both the church and the wider community
- give 10% of our income to God’s work in the UK and abroad
